The Quiet Dream v0.3

The new edition of The Quiet Dream represents a significant evolution from its previous version. The updated rulebook features clearer rules, more precise terminology, and a stronger focus on atmosphere. Extensive playtesting led to refinements in the Oracle card events, which are now better aligned with the themes of each season, ensuring a focused, coherent narrative progression. 

In addition, The Quiet Dream is now available in Italian.

The Quiet Dream is a map-making game inspired by the dreamlike worlds of David Lynch, where players explore a community suspended between two realms: reality and dreams. Built on the foundation of The Quiet Year, its core mechanics have been reworked to emphasize a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere and the internal tensions of the community.

This new edition places even greater emphasis on storytelling and the interplay between the two worlds. The redesigned Oracles no longer merely guide community building; they invite players to explore the deeper meanings of dreams, memories, and omens. By challenging players to uncover hidden connections and underlying themes, the Oracles help create a narrative that is both dreamlike and unsettling as it unfolds over time.
